CCL Clamshell Valve

It is used for closing silos and hoppers with granular products. It is installed at the silo outlet after the bar gate and then there is usually a direct bulk loader or a telescopic loading spout is included.

It consists of a clamshell that swings below the silo or hopper outlet, closing or opening the it. It can be operated manually, pneumatically or by motor.
They are manufactured with wear-resistant materials when used with abrasive materials.
