Aeration units are placed in the bottoms of silos to fluidize the product and facilitate depositing and removing it.
Kemex designs the silo bottom with suitable aeration units so that the least amount of fluidized surface area is required, thus saving energy.
Both metal and concrete silos can be equipped with aeration units.
Operation:
They consist of a body separated by an air-permeable membrane. The fluidizing air circulates through the chamber.
Aeration units feature easy maintenance – without arching – and are easy to assemble.
Application:
Fluidized silo bottoms are used for products such as cement, cement raw materials, lime, gypsum, fly ash, ground slag, alumina, etc., or of similar characteristics.
